Panzer IV Ausf. H

This is the first plastic model kit that Kristina assembled! She has way more patience for assembly than me. Naturally, she did a perfect job. The kit is by Italeri, and it is their fault that there is only one headlight. I can’t understand why they didn’t mold another one—it’s not like it would take up a lot of room on the sprue! I painted it, probably in less time than it took to build.

For my part, it’s my first painted tank, so we’re both pretty excited about it. I was pretty restrained with the weathering, but it still made it feel a bit more real.

Now, Kristina’s working on a Sherman by Dragon, a far more detailed model, although it is still 1/72 scale. It will probably be a while before that one shows up here. I just hope I can do justice to the model with my paint job.
